We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager with 4+ years of deck building experience to lead our residential exterior improvement projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison among homeowners, subcontractor crews, and our office team, ensuring every project is executed with exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous processes, and an unwavering focus on quality. Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-walk inspections with clients and complete all necessary documentation. Review project measurements against contracts and document any discrepancies. Prepare detailed material lists for deck projects and coordinate procurement with the office team. Schedule and supervise subcontractor crews, ensuring a thorough review of the scope of work before each job starts. Maintain regular communication with clients (minimum every other day) to provide updates and address any concerns. Manage and communicate changes, change orders, and any material shortages or overages with effective solutions. Document all project phases—pre-construction, active production, and closeout—using our project management CRM. Keep accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, including photos, notes, schedules, and client communications at every stage. Track and submit all invoices, receipts, material returns, and inventory forms for each job. Conduct final walk-throughs with clients and obtain sign-off on completion forms. Coordinate and expedite punch-out crew scheduling for any outstanding items at project close. Update daily project logs and attend weekly in-person production meetings at the office. Ensure a consistently high level of customer service throughout every project. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in deck building and residential construction or exterior remodeling (required). Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality—pride in getting it right the first time is crucial. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, direct, and motivate subcontractor crews. Eager to learn and strong communication skills. Proficiency in project management CRM software and a willingness to learn and utilize company systems consistently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret contracts and project scopes effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred. What We Offer $65,000-$85,000 based on experience. Bonuses. Company truck and gas provided. Cell phone and tablet for work related communications. One week paid vacation + one week paid sick leave.
