Title
RN - Medical-Surgical - Trauma

Schedule
- Shift options: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Guaranteed hours: Yes

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience
- Level I & II Trauma experience required
- Travel experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS
- Must pass Relias EKG exam

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a trauma and acute care surgery setting.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including assessments and interventions for a variety of trauma-related diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood product administration and IV maintenance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize appropriate medical devices and technology to support patient care needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO first week.
- Fit testing required with no facial hair that interferes with testing.
- Monthly parking passes are available for employees.
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccination required with exemptions allowed.
