Maintenance Inventory Specialist

Inventory Control SpecialistPerforms all record keeping for inventory control of parts room, tools, machine components and expenses used by maintenance personnel. Provides day-to-day miscellaneous administrative and component purchasing support to maintenance as needed.Duties and Responsibilities- Generates receivers for all incoming parts and verifies quality at time of delivery. Receives in stock and keeps parts room organized.- Pairs work orders with the correct part(s) in preparation for the assigned mechanic to retrieve and complete the work order.- Performs cycle counts each week in the parts room to verify accuracy of inventory. Counts material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies in stock and inputs data into system.- Monitors various expenses spent on each piece of equipment.- Assists with the maintaining and managing of the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure accurate and detailed information is stored and retrievable.- Updates and maintains the vendor list.- Understands and applies company safety policies, GMPs, and any other applicable regulations and programs.- Performs other responsibilities as determined by business needs.Required Minimum Qualifications- 2-3 years related experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.- 2-3 years CMMS experience - Excellent communication skills - Strong customer focus - Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, and within a team.- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CMMS applications.- Reliable and ability to meet deadlines.- Detail-orientated, self-directed, computer skills, organized.- Team player - Proficient 10-key skills - Ability to research and resolve order related problems- Maintenance department environment - Required to sit/stand for periods of time - Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs- Technical certifications preferred- Less than 5% travelDairy Farmers of America is a Equal Opportunity Employer.
