SHIPPING OFFICE CLERK - BILINGUAL

- Attends to truck drivers checking in for pickups, distributes proper paperwork and directs them to pickup area
- Generates Bills of Lading for truck drivers
- Walks to main office to pickup sales orders multiple times a day
- Makes copies, sorts and files shipping paperwork daily
- Answers phones and assists customers with order status inquiries
- Accepts payments for COD orders and processes credit card payments
- Add up weights of galvanized material on sales orders daily
- Answers emails both internally and to customers in a timely manner
- Notifies customers when their orders are completed and ready for pickup
- Adds notes through Sage Intacct Collaboration for status of sales orders
- Light miscellaneous cleaning duties
- Use Stencil program to print stencils for pipe orders
- Speak, read and write fluent English, Bilingual Spanish is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Sage Intacct knowledge is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work well with team members and independently
- 1-3 years of clerical experience preferred
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to walk to main office and through shipping yard in all weather conditions
- Full-Time, Hourly Position
- Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm
