About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology strategy and engineering execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the modernization of high-volume, transaction-intensive, and mission-critical enterprise platforms, as well as improving software delivery velocity, quality, and overall engineering productivity. This role requires the establishment of architecture direction across various technologies, including Java, microservices, cloud, data, and distributed systems, and the translation of business priorities and market changes into executable technology roadmaps. The CTO will also lead major platform transformation initiatives, ensure the practical adoption of AI, and identify opportunities to use emerging technologies to enhance engineering efficiency and business outcomes. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have significant senior technology leadership experience and a strong technical and architectural foundation. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in modernizing complex legacy enterprise applications, experience with Java or comparable enterprise technologies, and a strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have a background in cloud architecture and transformation, particularly with major public cloud platforms, and experience in operating across different cloud environments. Strong executive communication, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead geographically distributed engineering teams are essential. Experience in AI and Generative AI, as well as a background in high-volume technology environments such as healthcare, fintech, or e-commerce, is preferred.
