About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder to lead the development of an ambient AI platform that revolutionizes nursing and medical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the platform from the ground up, with a focus on computer vision, data as an asset, annotation, deployment, architecture, and lean resource management. This is a hands-on role that requires a builder mindset, with the first-year output being a working pilot and a viable product. The CTO will own the technical design, set the boundaries between components, and be involved in future technical hiring. They must also be prepared to engage with customers and investors, holding substantive technical conversations and representing the company in various settings. Applicants for the CTO position at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant technical experience, with a strong background in hands-on computer vision, fixed-camera video work, and a proven track record of taking a product from zero to production. The role demands a leader with experience in edge or on-premise inference deployment, model adaptation, and fine-tuning, as well as a history of operating in a startup or early-stage environment. Strong differentiators include prior work in real-world video AI contexts, experience in operational-scale computer vision, and exposure to healthcare or clinical technology. The ideal candidate will have a founder or early employee track record, be comfortable with ambiguity, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
