Housekeeping/EVS Tech - Evenings - Encinitas

Job Description This is a full-time position located at the Scripps Memorial Campus in Encinitas. Must be available to work an evening shift of 2:00pm-10:30pm and a varied schedule including weekends. Responsibilities include housekeeping tasks supporting environmental care: patient care area cleaning, non-patient care area cleaning, linen service, waste removal, sharps container removal, meeting/event set-up/breakdown, and infection control/sanitation using technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills under supervisor guidance. Follow established policies and practices to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, Title XXII, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Ability to speak, read, and write English Preferred Qualifications: 6 months housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality Qualified candidates have extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service. Location Primary Location: Northern San Diego County, Encinitas – Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas Pay Minimum rate: $25.00, maximum rate: $29.29 per hour (California only).
