Locum - Physician - Cardiologist Grass Valley CA

$65 per day

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is looking for 24 hour ER Cardiology call coverage! Must have worked in a joint commission accredited hospital in the last 2 out of 4 years.

DETAILS:

Setting: Inpatient
Duties: Consult patient in ED and inpatients, collaborate with Hospitalists and Specialists, Supervise Stress Tests (Pharmacological /Exercise), Interpret OP and INPT Echocardiology, Holter, Event Monitors
Required Procedures: Ideal Candidate can perform TEE ; optional - Transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Cardiology Manager, Echocardiographers and Cardiology Technicians
Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Admissions per Day: Average 3-4 consults, Supervised stress tests: 4-8, Echo's: 5-12
Types of Cases: Typical "non-interventional" community hospital cardiology cases
First day info : Day before first shift (business day)

Residency requirements/ Fellowship- Current certification in Internal Medicine and active participation in the certification process leading to added qualifications

in cardiovascular medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine
to be achieved within five (5) years of completion of residency training, or;
Successful completion of an accredited fellowship training program in cardiovascular medicine during which at least three
years were devoted to cardiovascular medicine.

CREDENTIALING INFORMATION:

Timeframe: 5 -7 days once the application received. Offers URGENT privileges!
Requirements: the provider must have privileges at a Joint Commission (or equivalent) accredited hospital two of the last four years. Residency requirements below.
Credentialing with other facilities? No
Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No

TRAVEL PREFERENCES & TRAVEL VERBIAGE:

Preferred lodging: Gold Miners Inn or Courtyard Suites
Travel Section - adjust first part to what provider will need up to "only" - "Flights, lodging, and car rental only. - Travel will abide by Travel Policy, except where otherwise indicated below."
If Lodging - "Reimbursed by Receipt - Preferred lodging per job description or up 1.5x the GSA rate."
If Car rental - "Reimbursed by Receipt - $65 'all-in' daily cap"
If mileage - "IRS Standard rate per CSH guidelines"

RATES TO SUBMIT:

Malpractice rates - Must be included in the rates.
Orientation rate (half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours) - "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
Hourly rate "Per hour, no OT"
Holiday - "1.5x hourly rate, per hour, no OT"
On Call (Daily) - Must include 4 hours gratis - "per 24 hours to hold the pager to include 4 hours gratis"
24 hour holiday rate - 1.5x the regular rate, must include 4 hours gratis - " per 24 hours to hold the pager to include 4 hours gratis on a holiday."
Call back - Must match hourly rate - "per hour of patient contact after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms."
Holiday Call Back rate - 1.5x the regular rate - "per hour of patient contact after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms on a holiday

Board Certified Internal Medicine or Cardiology - REQUIRED OR Truly BE (0-5 years from residency completion.
Active CA license - REQUIRED

Residency Requirements/Fellowship - REQUIRED (SEE REQUIREMENTS ABOVE IN ADDITIONAL DETAILS SECTION)
Clean Malpractice/background - REQUIRED
Must be available for specific dates in Job Description - REQUIRED TO NOTE WHICH DATES OF JOB DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE
Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
COVID Vaccinated - REQUIRED
