Qualifications And Skills Required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA certification (preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first month. Expertise in evidence-based therapy methods for all age groups and disorders. Excellent interpersonal, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with electronic medical records and cultural competence in therapy approaches.
