Pay Rate: $18.00-$19.00 per hour (DOE)
Shifts:

Day Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM

Night Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM

Alternating weekends and rotating schedule of 32 hours one week and 48 hours the next

Position Summary

In this role, you will operate and monitor industrial rolling mill equipment used to produce copper and alloy products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who enjoys working with machinery, following detailed procedures, solving problems, and being part of a production team.

Industrial machinery experience is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate rolling mill equipment safely and efficiently according to production schedules and work instructions.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment to maintain proper production and product quality.
• Monitor machine settings such as speed, roll pressure, material thickness, and other operating parameters.
• Perform roll changes, machine adjustments, and product changeovers as needed.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Check product dimensions and surface quality to ensure products meet specifications.
• Record production, quality, and equipment information in SAP and/or other production systems.
• Recognize and report equipment problems, quality issues, and process deviations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and basic preventive maintenance activities.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S practices.
• Work with team members and supervisors to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
