What You'll Do

• Safely operate sit-down propane/electric forklifts to transport raw textile materials, heavy fabric rolls, pallets, and finished goods.
• Unload inbound freight containers and load outbound trailers efficiently to prevent shipping damage.
• Keep production lines supplied with necessary materials to prevent operational downtime.
• Use RF scanners to log inventory, track staging locations, and support accurate stock counts.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment safety checks and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free staging areas, aisles, and loading docks.

salary: $17.49 - $17.5 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving raw textile materials, fabric rolls, pallets, and finished goods throughout the facility. You will support production lines, load/unload freight, and ensure accurate inventory tracking while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down propane or electric forklifts to transport materials, pallets, and heavy textile rolls across production floors and loading docks.
• Loading & Unloading: Unload inbound freight trucks and containers; load outbound shipments efficiently to maximize trailer space and prevent transit damage.
• Production Line Support: Supply raw materials, yarn, or fabric goods to production lines in a timely manner to avoid operational delays.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
