KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Washington National Tax (WNT) practice. Responsibilities: Work closely with other offices of the firm to provide advice to their clients Collaborate with other practice groups in Washington National Tax and work with KPMG International member firms Review tax memoranda and tax opinions Instruct internal firm courses related to Income, Franchise, Indirect, Value Added Tax (VAT), Sales and Use, and other State and Local taxation Review articles and other risk management activities Qualifications: A minimum of one year of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Master\u2019s in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams Excellent advisory and compliance skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries ("KPMG") comply with all local regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
