Business Development Liaison

Position Summary Arch Vista Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Liaison to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other partners throughout Missouri. The Business Development Liaison will serve as a key ambassador for Arch Vista Behavioral Health, increasing awareness of the organization’s behavioral health services and identifying opportunities to build referral partnerships. This position works closely with clinical, admissions, and leadership teams to support appropriate referrals, strengthen community relationships, and contribute to overall program growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, therapists, psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, schools, community organizations, and other behavioral health referral sources. Conduct regular outreach visits, presentations, meetings, and networking activities with referral partners. Educate referral sources and community partners about Arch Vista Behavioral Health’s programs, services, admission criteria, and treatment options. Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategies to expand Arch Vista’s presence within the Missouri behavioral health community. Maintain consistent communication with existing referral partners to strengthen relationships and encourage continued collaboration. Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure referral sources receive timely and professional communication. Participate in community events, healthcare networking events, conferences, behavioral health meetings, and other outreach opportunities. Track outreach activities, referral trends, relationship development, and business development results. Monitor market conditions, competing behavioral health programs, and community needs to identify opportunities for growth. Develop and maintain a territory or account-management plan for assigned referral sources. Respond professionally to questions from referral partners regarding services, availability, and the referral process. Work collaboratively with leadership to establish and achieve referral and census‑growth goals. Represent Arch Vista Behavioral Health professionally and ethically in all community and healthcare interactions. Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and ethical standards. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Communications, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in healthcare business development, behavioral health, hospital relations, healthcare marketing, community outreach, admissions, or a related field preferred. Established relationships with healthcare or behavioral health referral sources in Missouri are a plus.
