Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic learning environment near Sacramento, CA. This full-time role (30 hours/week) is ideal for individuals passionate about serving as a classroom aide within a Resource Specialized Program. The assignment extends through early June 2027, with start dates and end dates tailored to either preK or elementary settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, particularly working with younger students, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with special education settings or Resource Specialized Programs
• Ability to follow educator direction and adapt to varied classroom needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Flexibility to support both classroom instruction and pull-out services
• High school diploma or equivalent; further relevant credentials are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students in preK or elementary classrooms
• Support the lead teacher with instructional activities and individualized learning plans
• Assist with classroom management and facilitate group or one-on-one activities
• Deliver services to students who require pull-outs, promoting engagement and inclusion
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning atmosphere
• Foster student independence and progress, tracking developments as needed
