Responsibilities

• Teach private lessons & group rehearsals for piano/keys students (all skill levels)

• Use the School of Rock Method™ , books, and Method App for lessons

• Write engaging lesson plans that challenge and inspire students

• Communicate with parents on student progress via notes & assignments

• Prepare students for live performances

• Help with rehearsals and upkeep of lesson facilities

• Model energy, professionalism, and stage presence

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching and/or professional performance experience

• Skilled in piano/keys across multiple genres (rock, pop, funk, etc.)

• Strong music theory knowledge and curriculum design experience

• Excellent communication & customer service skills

• Patient, positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching

• High school diploma or equivalent required; music degree preferred

Requirements

• Willing to undergo a background check

• Evenings/weekends required

• Must be in-person
