Structural Engineer (Data Centers & Airport Infrastructure)

Location: Brentwood, TN (On-Site)

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Target Salary: Targeting ~$100,000 ($90k-110k range) (Negotiable based on experience)

Work Authorization: US Citizens or Permanent Residents only (No visa sponsorship provided)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Structural Engineers to join a premier structural engineering firm at their office in Brentwood, TN. This team specializes in high-value, complex, and mission-critical engineering projects nationwide.

In this role, you will play a key part in the structural design and analysis of large-scale, complex infrastructure—specifically focusing on Data Centers and Aviation/Airport facilities . If you thrive on technical challenges, building design, and collaborating closely with architecture partners on high-impact builds, this is an excellent growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for complex structural systems, with a strong focus on data centers, mission-critical facilities, and aviation infrastructure.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with project architects, design leads, and internal team members to ensure seamless project integration.
• Produce and manage engineering design models and documentation using Tekla Structural Designer (TSD) and Revit .
• Perform plan reviews, detail markups, and document management utilizing Bluebeam Revu .
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with local building codes, structural engineering standards, and client specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on structural engineering analysis and design experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Active hands-on proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu (Required).
• Knowledge or experience with Tekla Structural Designer (TSD) or similar structural analysis software (Highly Preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Project Portfolio: Exposure to mission-critical infrastructure, data center design, or airport/aviation builds is strongly preferred.
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
