Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Laboratory Registered Nurse position is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the endoscopy unit, ensuring quality and safe care delivery in accordance with organizational standards. The nurse will demonstrate clinical expertise and compassionate patient interactions while contributing to a positive care environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Fe, NM
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, rotating shift, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification; ACLS Certification; Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Minimum of 0 years of experience as a registered nurse (new hires with two or less years of experience will be hired at a CN I status); Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients rights; Effective communication skills suitable for the patient population.
• Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in endoscopy or laboratory settings; Additional nursing education such as B.S.N. or MSN; National professional nursing certification.
• Responsibilities: Coordinate patient assessments, establish care priorities, develop and implement measurable individualized plans of care, Make clinical decisions based on patient outcomes, perform point-of-care testing, and participate in patient education and discharge planning.
