Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is available in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers a day shift schedule, working four days per week, ten hours per shift.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Fe, NM
• Shift: Day shift, 4 Days - 10 Hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification from AHA, RN License in the state of employment or in a compact state, 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Experience in Pain Procedures, Preoperative, Operating Room, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings is required, particularly with pain procedure injections typically performed in the OR setting
• Responsibilities include providing independent nursing care, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation), addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, documenting patient information, and providing patient and family education
• Leadership competencies such as being a leader of self, others, or leaders of others are expected
• No additional clinical or operational information is provided
