**Required Experience, Certifications, and Licensure:** - Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license - BLS Certification required via AHA - ACLS Certification required via AHA **Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred - 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred **Shift and Floating Requirements:** - Must be willing to float to Main campus OR as staffing needs require **Leadership Experience:** - Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders **Clinical Experience and Responsibilities:** - Practices independently in the same or similar clinical setting - Provides routine and complex care, manages contingencies of clinical nursing - Delegates to other care providers to help manage the clinical situation - Provides nursing care utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation - Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families - Administers medications and treatments, monitors side-effects and effectiveness - Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given - Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, or caregivers.
