Shift: 1st (Mon-Thu) 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM Position Description:
Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time and on site at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Our employees work on the world's most advanced electronics. At Electronic Systems, you'll be among the brightest minds, working on the aerospace and defense industry's most difficult problems. - Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans.
- Inspects results to ensure conformance Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills, including using software for MRP and data collection.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
- High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years work experience or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Ability to become solder certified Effective communication and team work Computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a successful working team A passion for learning/knowledge
- Experienced in Electronic Assembly 3+ years IPC-610/620 Certifications Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 Methods 2021 and 2017 Solder Reflow experience
