Scientist
Aequor
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Overtime/Weekend Work: Not expected
Contract Duration: Approximately 10 months, with coverage needed at minimum through the end of June. This assignment is supporting temporary coverage for an employee on leave
The ideal candidate is a hands-on bioanalytical Scientist with strong large-molecule experience and demonstrated expertise in ligand-binding assays, particularly ELISA and/or ECL, including method development and validation. The candidate should have experience working in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO laboratory and bring strong documentation, data analysis, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. The strongest candidates will be collaborative, detail-oriented, adaptable, quick learners who can successfully multitask in a dynamic laboratory environment, independently manage their scientific responsibilities, and provide appropriate experimental guidance to junior analysts. Candidates with solely LC-MS experience and no ligand-binding assay background are not the target profile.
