Work Environment

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; candidates possessing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license valid in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful therapeutic exercise programs.
• Skilled in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for precise documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Possess a solid understanding of current physical therapy methodologies supported by the latest research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a proven track record of effective patient outcomes.
• Expertise in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with a focus on manual therapy and strength training rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

Joint Medcare Rehab and Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
