Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians and develop personalized treatment programs that align with clinical best practices.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans across various specializations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, contributing to a positive patient experience that promotes ongoing engagement and recovery adherence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, employing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement strategies.
• Provide therapeutic care in accordance with the physician's plan using a variety of modalities and techniques.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on effective strategies for recovery and long-term wellness maintenance.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute towards the overall effectiveness and objectives of the rehabilitation center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center caters to a diverse range of patients with varying needs. The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work primarily with individuals recovering from sports injuries, those experiencing joint pain, and pediatric patients requiring specialized care. The therapist will create personalized programs that address each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring a supportive and focused path to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to connect effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families, resulting in successful therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
