Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our West Mclean facility, you will engage with a diverse team of healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. Our facility provides a welcoming environment, equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and tools designed to support optimal patient recovery. You can expect a standard workweek of 40 hours, including variable weekends, where you will collaborate closely with other medical staff to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, identifying functional limitations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy sessions that encompass manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and educational guidance for patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach and quality improvement initiatives to promote health awareness and patient-centered care.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and students, fostering their professional growth and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in continuing education and staff meetings to stay abreast of best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will serve includes individuals with various orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records and rehabilitation documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
