Work Environment

This role will be primarily onsite at our facility in Arlington, Virginia. The center features modern rehabilitation spaces equipped with the latest technologies and treatment modalities to provide high-quality care. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while engaging in meaningful patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs, goals, and relevant treatment strategies.
• Develop, implement, and update personalized rehabilitation programs based on stringent evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Maintain a patient caseload that allows you to spend quality time with each individual, ensuring thorough evaluations and consistent follow-up sessions.
• Utilize various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to enhance patient recovery and motion.
• Focus on promoting non-surgical therapeutic alternatives and educating patients to reduce reliance on pain medications.
• Design and guide fitness and wellness programs that are specifically tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's treatment and recovery journey.
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment plans and patient progress using EMR software, particularly Web PT.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging environment to help patients adhere to their rehabilitation protocols.
• Promote healthy lifestyles by instructing patients in exercises that enhance mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, chronic pain, or sports-related injuries. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes seeking performance therapy to older adults aiming to regain functional mobility. You will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the rehabilitation process, ultimately enhancing each patient's quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher level of education, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Hands-on experience in outpatient orthopedic care, demonstrating a solid proficiency in manual therapies and various treatment modalities.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, such as Web PT, for accurate and efficient patient documentation.
• Current knowledge of emerging physical therapy techniques and treatments supported by ongoing research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting.
• Demonstrated history of maintaining a positive relationship with patients and achieving high satisfaction ratings.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams focusing on integrated patient care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
