Assistant Pool Manager

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Pool Manager. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a passion for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool guests. The Assistant Pool Manager will support the Pool Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe pool environment. Responsibilities Assist the Pool Manager in daily operations, including staff scheduling and training. Monitor pool activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies. Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist in the management of pool supplies and equipment, including inventory control. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Prepare and maintain records related to pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities. Support the organization of pool events and activities to enhance guest experiences. Collaborate with the Pool Manager in staff performance evaluations and training initiatives. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation management or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in pool management, lifeguarding, or a related role preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certifications required; Lifeguard certification is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
