TikTok Shop-Data Scientist, Logistics Location: Seattle Employment Type: Regular Job Code: A03581A Responsibilities The data analytics team will be responsible for data analysis of TikTok e-commerce's US e-commerce logistics operations. - Responsible for data analysis of TikTok e-commerce's US logistics operations - Maintain & improve operation performance index; assist top management to monitor the weekly and bi-monthly operation performance; analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports - Cooperate with logistics team to set strategy, e.g. Fulfillment network design, warehouse efficiency optimization, capacity management - Follow-up data analysis of operation teams in several overseas markets, support operation and provide optimization suggestions - Cooperate with Products and ETL teams to define system requirements, build data products, improve and roll-out product features to support business Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Degree holder in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operation Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or Computer Science - Proficient in SQL and familiar with Python or R Preferred Qualifications - Experience in US logistics or US E-Commerce site fulfillment process (Amazon FBA/SFP; Ebay/Walmart/Shopify) is a strong plus - Experience in logistics or supply-chain related analysis; Familiar with fulfillment network design, inventory management, US logistics carrier optimization -High energy, self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-growing environment Job Information The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $170240 - $263340 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
