Patron Services CoordinatorUnique opportunity to create exceptional experiences for patrons at one of Auburn's premier performing arts venues!The Gogue Performing Arts Center is seeking a Patron Services Coordinator to help deliver an exceptional experience for every guest. Reporting to the Patron Services Manager, this role serves as a key point of contact for patrons by providing outstanding customer service, managing ticket sales and patron accounts, and supporting Box Office and Front-of-House operations. From assisting guests with ticket purchases to ensuring day-of-show operations run seamlessly, this position plays an integral role in the success of performances and events.ResponsibilitiesProvides customer service via email, telephone, and in person, describing performances/events, addressing questions, and resolving patron issues.Processes ticket orders and fulfillment, including verifying order forms, computing charges, and organizing orders.Records ticket orders in the database, including seat assignments, patron status, ticket issues, and charge updates.Contributes to training sessions for box office and front-of-house personnel, including usher training and shadowing team members.Assists patrons with renewals of full season, series, create-your-own, and single ticket purchases.Provides directions to patrons on day-of-show for seat locations, restrooms, theatre entrances, concessions, and sponsorship event details.Sets up day-of-show stanchions, merchandise tables, chairs, and tablecloths, and stuffs Playbills with updated information.Provides current information and processes sponsorship donations into patron accounts.Assists students with purchasing tickets, seat availability, and student RUSH ticket distribution.Facilitates payments for school show performances, documents payments.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1 year of customer services experience in sales and service by phone, in-person, or online.Why Work at Auburn?Life-Changing Impact: Our work changes lives through research, instruction, and outreach, making a lasting impact on our students, our communities, and the world.Culture of Excellence: We are committed to leveraging our strengths, resources, collaboration, and innovation as a top employer in higher education.We're Here for You: Auburn offers generous benefits, educational opportunities, and a culture of support and work/life balance.Sweet Home Alabama: The Auburn/Opelika area offers southern charm, vibrant downtown scenes, top-ranked schools, and easy access to Atlanta, Birmingham, and the Gulf of Mexico beaches.A Place for Everyone: Auburn is committed to fostering an environment where all faculty, staff, and students are welcomed, valued, respected, and engaged.Ready to lead and shape the future of higher education?
