Human Resource Business Partner

Our client is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join their team. As a HRBP, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will provide attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent time-management which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Onsite Human Resource Business Partner

Location: Newark, Delaware

Pay Range: $50/hourly, depending on experience

This is a 6-12 month contract position. Applicants must be willing and able to commit to the entire contract.

Job Duties

• Provide hands-on, on-site HR support while partnering with the Director of Human Resources to ensure alignment with global HR policies, procedures, and programs.

• Serve as a primary resource for employee relations , including investigating workplace concerns and promoting employee engagement initiatives.

• Partner with managers to provide guidance on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning .

• Track and report key HR metrics including headcount, hiring, turnover, and time-to-fill .

• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes , including conducting exit interviews and identifying trends.

• Participate in recruitment activities , including candidate interviews, evaluation, and selection.

• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system and generate reports as needed.

• Facilitate and support training and development programs aligned with business needs.

• Contribute to special projects and HR initiatives as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology , or a related field.

• 6+ years of progressive HR experience , including generalist responsibilities (preferably in a high-tech or fast-paced environment ).

• Strong background in employee relations , with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and effectively.

• Demonstrated skills in project management, organization, and multitasking .

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with a strong customer-service mindset.

• Ability to think critically, assess risk, and provide practical, solution-oriented recommendations .

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively , knowing when to escalate issues.

• Experience managing confidential information with discretion and integrity .

• Adaptability and success in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment .

• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) .

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
