Job Description Position: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Outpatient Therapist Location: Southgate, MI Schedule: Full-Time | Days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 37.5 hours/week Flexibility: Some evenings/weekends based on program needs Make an Impact in Behavioral Health Join a mission-driven behavioral health team dedicated to improving the lives of adults and families in the community. This outpatient therapist role focuses on providing direct clinical care, supporting individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use needs, and promoting long-term wellness through evidence-based treatment. You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where your clinical skills, communication, and ability to build therapeutic relationships truly make a difference. Key Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments and complete clinical evaluations for adult outpatient clients Provide individual and group therapy services Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans Support clients with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, school personnel, and support services Maintain accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner Participate in supervision, team meetings, and case consultations Support discharge planning and continuity of care Maintain compliance with agency and funding source requirements Complete required trainings (including 24 hours in adult mental health/substance use care) Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling (required) Active Michigan license (LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP accepted) Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health (internship/fieldwork may count) Ability to work independently in a clinical setting Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Must be able to engage effectively with diverse adult and family populations Must obtain QMH Professional credential within 120 days of hire No visa sponsorship available Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay Range: Full License: $29 – $39/hr Limited License: $27 – $36/hr Flexible scheduling options Mileage reimbursement (IRS standard) Paid training and professional development Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Supportive, team-oriented work environment Career growth within a large community behavioral health network #J-18808-Ljbffr Lancesoft INC
