Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role will focus on ensuring effective and safe patient drug therapies. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request according to established policies and protocols
• Interpret drug orders and transcribe into computerized patient medication records accurately
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including non-sterile and sterile products
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
• Provide ambulatory pharmaceutical care services and manage patient drug therapy
• Ensure cost-effective drug therapies and monitor drug therapy regimens
• Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
• Pharmacy TX state licensure required
• BLS or ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Hospital experience preferred
