Medical Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Generalist for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical laboratory experience, prior travel assignment experience, and expertise in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform accurate diagnostic testing while collaborating with pathologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care. Job Title: Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Generalist Location: Statesboro, GA 30458 Shift: Nights Pay: $30-34/hr Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Generalist for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience, a minimum of two completed travel assignments, and expertise in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank testing. This role involves performing diagnostic testing, ensuring accurate and timely results, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to support exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank. Analyze and verify laboratory results for accuracy, quality, and critical values. Process patient specimens following established laboratory protocols. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment. Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance, safety, and regulatory standards. Document testing and results accurately using the laboratory information system. Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and laboratory staff to provide timely diagnostic support. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field. ASCP or AMT Certification required. Minimum 2 years of Medical Technologist experience. At least two successfully completed travel assignments. Strong experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank.
