Technician 2
HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a Technician 2 for its Uncrewed Systems group. This role involves manufacturing and testing electro mechanical assemblies for autonomous vehicles and auxiliary equipment. The Production Technician II will perform integration, assembly, and testing of new systems vehicles and auxiliary equipment from work instructions and assembly drawings. The position requires the ability to read and understand technical schematics, perform testing and troubleshooting, and document changes to configuration as appropriate. Routine computer skills and the ability to load software and firmware files to vehicles are also necessary. The role may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment and may encounter various environmental factors.
The ideal candidate will have an AA degree in a related discipline with one year of related experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with three years of related experience. Bonus points will be given for J-STD soldering certification, IPC 610 or 620 certifications, or an A&P License. The anticipated salary range for this role is $49,762.00 - $71,089.00, and the position requires a Secret security clearance.
