Job Full Description

Job Summary:
This is an hourly, full-time, on-site role for an Operations Support Specialist (OSS) located in the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The OSS will be responsible for providing customer service and warranty support, inventory support, and assisting with administrative tasks. Day-to-day tasks will include inventory tracking, handling customer and supplier inquiries, coordinating with other departments, and contributing to the efficient operation of the service and inventory functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Process spare parts orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with customers and vendors to resolve issues and build relationships.
- Maintain and update various databases that support business functions.
- Coordinate warranty, exchanges, and defective parts processes.
- Prepare and distribute reports as required.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Provide other administrative support to the operational function as needed.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in parts administration, inventory management, or a related administrative support role.

Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory software, ERP systems (NetSuite).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
- Strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Ability to work independently and on a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with technical parts, components, or mechanical systems
- Experience working in manufacturing or warehousing environments.
- Understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.

Work Environment:
- Office-based and warehousing.
- May require some physical activity such as lifting or organizing inventory
- Use of PPE may be required in some environments.
