Full-Time Contractor Sales Manager Job Description

McCORD'S Do it Best in Logansport, IN is looking to add the next great addition to our team of knowledgeable staff members. At McCORD'S, we pride ourselves on giving our customers the best service possible on a daily basis. Our contractors play vital roles in the development of our community, so we strive to provide them with the best and most efficient service as well. As a Contractor Sales Manager, you will assist to needs of both homeowners and contractors alike.

These responsibilities of a Contractor Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:

-Maintaining an extensive knowledge of building materials and construction.

-Understanding how to read and work with blueprints and construction design layouts

-Proficiently using a computer to write up sales estimates, orders and purchase orders.

-Knowledge of home improvement and construction components (Example: Kitchen Cabinets, Paint, Building Materials, Electrical and Plumbing)

-Communicating with contractors for estimates, orders, and setting up deliveries.

-Communicating with co-workers to arrange orders and deliveries.

-Be goal and results driven to help improve sales and the overall business.

-Display good organization and time management skills to work efficiently with contractors and customers.

-Develop good relationships with contractors and customers to maintain their trust with our business.

Experience within the sales and/or construction field is preferred.

Position would require 45 Hour Work Week

Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm

• Sales: 3-5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
