Accounting Manager

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing manufacturing company to locate their next Accounting Manager. Job Details Location: Logansport, IN (Hybrid) Compensation: $95,000–$130,000 base + annual bonus Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr What’s in it for you? Manufacturing Focus: Work closely with plant operations, costing, and production teams to strengthen financial performance across the facility. What will your day look like? Month-End Close: Lead month-end procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, cost allocations, and financial reporting. Cost Accounting: Oversee standard costing, variance analysis, bill of materials, inventory valuation, and margin analysis. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and support budgeting and forecasting activities. Cross-Functional Support: Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to drive accurate costing and improve financial visibility. Process & System Improvements: Evaluate and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and ERP utilization. Future Controller Responsibilities: Gradually take on multi-site oversight as the company grows, expanding leadership, reporting, and operational influence. Who are you? Experienced Accounting Professional: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Cost Accounting Background: 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with strong hands-on cost accounting skills. Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Strong understanding of inventory processes, costing methodologies, and financial analysis. Growth-Minded: Ambitious professional seeking a path toward a multi-site Controller role. Systems Savvy: Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis tools.
