Step into a contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during a key maternity leave coverage from October 1st to February 1st. This opportunity focuses on working within an elementary setting, providing crucial services to a moderate to severe caseload. Your dedication will ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes during this important period.

Position Highlights:

• 32.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday—ideal for those who appreciate consistent scheduling

Qualifications:

• Valid California SLPA license required
• Recent experience in a school environment, specifically serving students with moderate to severe needs
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering evidence-based therapy to students
• Implement individualized speech and language interventions as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate closely with classroom staff and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and outcomes
