Join a specialist recruitment business working at the heart of the US venture-backed technology market. You will partner with Series A and Series B businesses, high-growth AI companies, and leading technology start-ups on business-critical permanent hires.

The New York team combines the resources of an established international recruitment company with the autonomy and earning opportunity of a smaller office. With strong VC relationships generating senior mandates, significant retained work you will have a platform to grow your desk without a high-volume KPI culture.

The Recruitment Consultant - Technology & GTM will deliver senior searches, build trusted client relationships, and develop toward running a high-performing recruitment desk.

Role Highlights

– Recruit across Software Engineering, AI Engineering, technology leadership, sales, and GTM appointments, typically supporting positions paying $180,000–$500,000.

– Work on permanent and retained searches generated through established relationships with venture capital firms and high-growth technology companies.

– Build relationships with senior candidates and hiring leaders through a consultative, quality-led recruitment process.

– Meet clients face-to-face, including opportunities for domestic travel, while candidate interviews are typically managed by video.

– Develop from delivery into full 360 recruitment, or expand an existing client portfolio with hands-on coaching and support.

You Will Need

– Recruitment experience, ideally within technology, GTM, professional services, or another specialist permanent market.

– A track record of successful delivery; approximately $150,000–$200,000 billings may be considered for earlier-career recruiters, with $300,000+ preferred for experienced hires.

– If you are 360, evidence of winning your own clients, making placements, and developing repeat business.

– Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to represent the business in front of senior clients.

– A relationship-led approach and the motivation to improve your performance without requiring heavy KPIs or micromanagement.
