We're a growing company with a close-knit team, and we're looking for an Assistant Project Manager who wants to learn, take on responsibility, and build a long-term career in construction. You'll work directly with experienced Project Managers, gain office and job-site experience , and learn the full project lifecycle—from estimating and preconstruction through completion. Our goal is to develop the right person into a Project Manager who can confidently lead projects from start to finish. What You'll Do Assist with bids, estimates, budgets, schedules, and takeoffs Review blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and field personnel Visit job sites and monitor project progress, quality, and needs Track budgets, schedules, and project deliverables Assist with submittals, RFIs, purchase orders, and change orders Support Project Managers with daily project execution Help identify problems and improve project efficiency Take on increasing responsibility as you grow What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Construction experience or internship is a plus Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, or QuickBooks experience is a plus Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative Strong work ethic and genuine interest in commercial construction $70,000–$105,000/year Weekly pay Up to 120 hours PTO annually Six paid holidays Health insurance eligibility after 3 months Company health insurance contribution of 80%, up to $600/month Dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Annual performance reviews Bonus opportunities Clear path to Project Manager Build Your Future With Demco If you're ready to learn, contribute, and grow into a Project Manager , we'd like to hear from you.
