Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: In-Patient Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of Inpatient Dialysis experience required; First-time travelers must have 2 years of permanent staff RN experience in acute care. License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, SCD, CDN or CNN (preferred) Must-Have: Ability to pass an EKG competency exam, experience in accessing fistulas and dialysis catheters, critical thinking skills. Description: This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis. The nurse will provide care in an In-Patient setting. The shift will be from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Travel between facilities will be required, with notification provided the day prior. The ideal nurse-patient ratio is 1:3 in inpatient pods and 1:1 on units. The RN will float between multiple facilities and work independently. Nurses will work alongside a charge nurse and support staff. On-call responsibilities include 5-6 shifts per schedule. The schedule includes a rotation with weekdays and weekends, with expectations for holiday coverage. The work environment values flexibility and teamwork. Scrubs must be pewter, with specified colors for t-shirts and jackets. Badges must be displayed visibly at all times.
