Product Development Excellence ManagerThe Opportunity: As a Product Development Excellence Manager you will lead strategy and transformation work within our Operations Consulting practice, helping clients improve product development and manufacturing performance, streamline processes, and address bottlenecks across the product lifecycle. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior staff, manage client service workstreams, and apply sound judgment to complex issues while bringing structure to planning, budgeting, and delivery. In this role at PwC, you will guide work on speed to market, cost reduction, quality improvement, lean practices, supply chain integration, and digital approaches that support client needs.Responsibilities:Leading product development and manufacturing improvement workstreams for client engagementsGuiding teams in diagnosing lifecycle bottlenecks, process gaps, and cost drivers across product development and production environmentsTranslating operational data into strategies that shorten time to market, improve product flow, and strengthen quality outcomesDirecting planning and delivery of transformation initiatives that combine lean methods, digital tooling, and manufacturing strategyCoaching team members on product development, product lifecycle management, and process documentation approachesManaging performance, priorities, and deliverables across multiple workstreams while balancing client expectations and timelinesReviewing analyses and deliverables to validate alignment with project objectives, methodology, and technical requirementsIdentifying opportunities to apply AI fluency, emerging technologies, and human-centered collaboration to improve operationsDeveloping client-facing recommendations across product strategy, product roadmap, product positioning, and go-to-market planningAddressing issues, resolving conflicts, and escalating concerns when project risks or delivery obstacles ariseWhat You Must Have:At least a Bachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of experienceWhat Sets You Apart:Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science/Sustainability, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, ScienceDemonstrating product development strategy experience in consulting settingsManaging cross-functional workstreams across product lifecycle stagesApplying manufacturing strategy and operations improvement methodsUsing analytics, digital tooling, and emerging technologiesCoaching teams through planning, execution, and issue resolutionPresenting findings to client leaders and stakeholdersTravel Requirements: Up to 80%Job Posting End Date: The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
