The Opportunity Joining the Applied AI Health System Engineering team, you will spearhead the development of AI, GenAI, and ML solutions tailored to the unique needs of health systems and health plans. In this Senior Manager role, you will drive the development of use cases across various applications, transforming complex health challenges into effective AI solutions. You will also focus on building production‑grade RAG pipelines and MLOps frameworks while ensuring alignment with health system leaders to achieve measurable clinical and operational improvements. Responsibilities Lead the development of healthcare AI and GenAI solutions, overseeing clinical use case design, analytical modeling, and RAG pipeline development. Drive healthcare data science engagements, innovating delivery processes and enhancing use case development cycles. Engage with health system leaders to align AI initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring operational excellence. Guide teams in processing a variety of healthcare data sources for AI and LLM‑powered solutions. Manage the daily operations of a global data science team, overseeing model development and governance across client engagements. Contribute to the creation of healthcare AI proofs of concept and production use cases, spanning areas such as clinical support and operational optimization. Promote collaboration among clinical, technical, and operational team members to navigate complex health system challenges. Ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction, helping clients derive meaningful value from AI and ML projects. What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree 12 years of relevant experience in healthcare data science, health IT, or AI solution development for health system clients At least 6-7 years of experience within a health system environment Preferred Knowledge/Skills Proven ability to manage the identification and resolution of health system needs. Expertise in the healthcare value chain, including claims, pharmacy, finance, and clinical domains. Experience managing teams to develop healthcare AI/GenAI solutions, from analytical modeling to iterative development. Ability to document and analyze healthcare business processes to identify AI opportunities. Collaboration skills to work with client teams on selecting appropriate AI models and approaches. Experience designing AI architectures for healthcare applications and managing data processing for LLM contexts. Familiarity with managing teams for HIPAA‑compliant AI solutions. Experience delivering impactful healthcare AI use cases with measurable outcomes. What Sets You Apart Proven delivery of AI solutions in health systems with demonstrable results. The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $280,000, with actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, and location.
