Position: Medical Billing Administrative Assistant

Pay: $18.00 / Per Hour

Job Type: Contract (90 Days)

Location: Watauga, TX (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (Enjoy Fridays Off!)

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

About the Opportunity

Addison Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Billing Administrative Assistant to support our client's healthcare billing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a medical office environment while utilizing strong organizational and administrative skills.

We're looking for a team player who is comfortable working with patient records, managing documentation, and supporting billing operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Assist with medical billing and administrative support functions.
• Organize, sort, and maintain patient records with accuracy.
• Upload patient records and supporting documentation to insurance and payer portals.
• Send records securely via email and fax while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
• Support the billing team with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
• Ensure records are filed and stored according to company processes and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in medical billing, medical office administration, healthcare support, or a related field.
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and patient record management.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.
