THE POSITION Job Title Framer Operator Position Status Full-time, Non-Exempt Hourly Department Production Supervision Received Production Supervisor Supervision Exercised N/A Schedule Shift work, rotating 12-hour shifts, 4 days on/off Wage/Salary $22.50/ hour base wage + shift differential for nights Location Mountain Iron, Minnesota The Framer Operator is a key member of the Operations team. Framer Operators play a leadership role on the production floor including taking on training duties, being able to back-fill open positions, and in particular, run the Autobus and Framer equipment. They work to ensure there is continuous 24/7 production to assemble Photovoltaic Modules in a clean, fast-paced modern manufacturing facility. Work within a team of Operators. Maintain a clean, safe work environment, including keeping the work area in a clean and orderly condition. Feed raw materials to semi-automated machines. Perform quality and testing procedures based on a set criterion at every stage of the production line. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor. Follow all health and safety policies. Train junior operators. Learn multiple areas on the floor to be a relief as needed. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. No experience necessary, on-the-job training provided, preference given to those who demonstrate technical capabilities and have manufacturing experience Strong attention to detail Capable of understanding and following oral and written instructions Troubleshooting skills Maintain production and quality standards Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures Ability to lift 30 lbs. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires standing for long periods of time Computer experience is considered an asset Soldering Experience Previous manufacturing experience is an asset Self‑motivated Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening required This position is identified as a Safety Sensitive Position Physical Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to perform repetitive motion tasks for extended periods of time Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to tolerate an assembly line environment Compensation Package Salary: $22.50 - $23.50 /hr Night Shift premium: $1 per hour Benefits + 401K 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off rotation All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America.
