divh2Center Nurse Executive/h2pThe Center Nurse Executive (CNE) will oversee the day-to-day operations associated with nursing practice, direct patient care activities, clinical education, and the continuous improvement (Quality Assurance) of nursing staff and services to ensure that all patients/residents needs and expectations are met. The Center Nurse Executive will also collaborate with the Center Executive Director and relative facility leadership teams to drive business excellence including strategic planning and effective resource utilization./ppResponsibilities:/pulliFosters an environment in which each nursing team member practices to the top of her/his license, certification and/or skill set and role/liliAssesses and appraises nursing team members engagement and strengths, supports each nursing team members development of career plans and coaches nursing team members in their professional development/liliApplies corrective discipline and/or coaching when needed to mitigate workforce performance and behavior issues/liliMaintains a working knowledge of current clinical practice and the regulatory requirements affecting that practice and exhibits the value of continuous learning/liliDetermines the workforce/staffing model for the Nursing department necessary to meet the nursing needs of the patients/liliCollaborates and coordinates with other departments and professionals to provide timely, safe and effective care consistent with individuals needs, choices and preferences/liliCreates a culture of Service Excellence which focuses on the patient experience and is responsive to patients/families concerns and grievances/liliContributes to creating an environment that has a reputation for high ethical standards/liliDetermines the staffing needs of the Nursing department necessary to meet the nursing needs of the patients/liliComplies with and promotes adherence to applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA./liliEffectively plans, organizes, directs and implements a comprehensive center-wide nursing program/liliEmploys a strong Quality Improvement (QI) process for the nursing department and participates on the QI Committee/li/ulpQualifications:/pp Must have Valid California RN License/pp CPR/ BLS Certified/pp Supervisory Experienced/pp 3 years experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility/ppJob Type: Full-time/ppSalary: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year/ppRequired education:/pp Bachelors/ppRequired experience:/pp Nurse Management: 3 years/pp Nursing: 3 years/ppRequired license or certification:/pp RN/ppCare Navigators On Demand is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment./p/div
