As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance concerns in clear, timely reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
