Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Cambridge, MA

Working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on assignment in Cambridge presents the distinct advantage of expanding your professional repertoire. Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Experience utilizing Hamilton ventilators strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting systems is a plus
• Valid respiratory care license for the state of Massachusetts
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
• Minimum of one year recent acute care experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate respiratory care to patients across the lifespan
• Operate and troubleshoot Hamilton ventilators and related respiratory equipment
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Work closely with medical teams to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
• Respond to emergencies and actively participate in rapid response situations
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments as needed
• Ensure compliance with current standards of clinical practice and facility policies
