Job Description Team Lead Kraft Heinz Company Mason City, IA Job Description The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Team Lead to work at our production facility in Mason City, Iowa. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated and willing to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced work environment. Minimum Qualifications · Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED · Requires flexibility to work rotating 4x4 12-hour day and night shifts; weekends and holidays required. · Ability to work overtime as needed. · Strong, communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications · Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint · Experience in food or consumer packaged goods manufacturing · Understanding of Daily Management Systems · Understands importance of complying with Standard Operating Procedures · Project ideation, generation, implementation, and project completion. · Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds. · Knowledge of safety policies and procedures i.e. (lock-out / tag-out, confined space entry). Benefits & Compensation Overview: · Starting rate $34.56/hour. · Eligible for overtime compensation · Starting with 3 weeks (120hrs) of Paid Time Off (PTO) · Medical, Dental, Vision – we offer a variety of benefit plans to choose from · 401(k) · (HRA) Health Reimbursement Account or (HSA) Health Savings Account · Also: Company paid Life Insurance, Company paid Short-term Disability, (EAP) Employee Assistance Program and Pet Insurance Work Schedule: · 12-hour shifts – rotating days and nights, weekends and holidays. · Works overtime as required. · Flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts as required Job Overview: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role drives key systems—including Clean, Inspect & Lube, Centerline Management, 5S, process data integrity, and scrap elimination—while actively participating in planning and daily meetings. The employee develops process standards, leads root-cause problem-solving, and coach teams to build strong problem-solving skills and ensure effective system execution. Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to: · Adheres to the Team Lead Leader Standard Work · Spend 75% of the day on the floor guiding line teams and escalating for support when thresholds are met · Leads Level 1 meetings to develop operational plan for the day for each production line · Investigates initial root cause of top losses for the shift to identify potential countermeasures for the Level 2 Meeting · Responsible for managing the connected worker system on shift to drive DMS completion · Works with Process Owner, CI Lead and Maintenance Lead to address losses · Ensure team members are adhering to all safety and quality standards · Spends time on the floor gathering information on stops, centerlines and changeovers over the past 24 hours · Follow all established GMP, housekeeping guidelines, and Quality SOPs · Perform all other duties as assigned by management Internal candidates must be in good standing within the Kraft Heinz Mason City team (less than a written warning for performance and/or attendance within the last year) Questions regarding this position should be directed to the Production Supervisor or the Production Manager Posting Date/Deadline to Apply 7/7/26 – 7/19/26 Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer that prohibits discrimination or harassment of any type.
