This position requires strong knowledge of imaging techniques, patient positioning, anatomy, and radiation safety.This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist seeking a four-day workweek, strong shift differentials, and continued professional growth within a hospital imaging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine diagnostic radiographic proceduresOperate imaging equipment safely and effectivelyPosition patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesApply prescribed ionizing radiation using proper technical factors and safety standardsCollect relevant patient medical history before imaging proceduresExplain imaging procedures and answer patient questionsProvide safe and comfortable care to pediatric, adult, elderly, and medically complex patientsReview image quality and determine whether additional images may be necessaryCollaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate imaging and patient documentationParticipate in weekend and holiday rotationsRequired QualificationsCompletion of a formal Radiography program with an associated certificate or degreeARRT registration at hire OR ability to obtain registration within 2 years of hire after sitting for the registry within 6 months of hireCurrent American Heart Association BLS certificationPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience performing routine diagnostic procedures in General RadiologyPrevious customer service or patient experience backgroundStrong knowledge of patient positioning and radiographic techniquesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCompensation & IncentivesPay Range: $27.25–$35.67 per hourShift Differential: $2.25 per hourWeekend Differential: $2.50 per hourSign-On Bonus: $15,000Relocation Assistance: Available for eligible candidatesActual compensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity.Apply today to learn more about this Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist opportunity in Peoria, Illinois.
