Accounting Analyst

Program CoordinatorUnder general direction of the Executive Director or designated supervisor, coordinates the administration, licensing, and operational activities of the Wyoming Skill-Based Amusement Game Program. This position is responsible for planning, and maintaining regulatory processes that ensure compliance with Wyoming statutes, administrative rules and Commission policies.The Program Coordinator serves as the Commission's primary resource for program administration, provides assistance to licensees and stakeholders, maintains regulatory records, prepares reports and recommendations for Commission leadership. The position exercises independent judgment in interpreting regulations, resolving administrative issues, and recommending enforcement or corrective actions while maintaining the integrity of Wyoming's regulated gaming industry.Preferences may be given for: interpreting and applying statutes and administrative rules, exercising sound professional judgment, maintaining confidentiality, analyzing complex regulatory issues, communicating effectively with diverse audiences, and preparing accurate reports and recommendations.Knowledge of administrative law and regulatory practices, Wyoming statutes and administrative rules, licensing and permitting processes, records management, public administration principles, Microsoft Office Suite and database applications, Google Suite, report preparation and business correspondence is required.Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance) and 0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Accountant or 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Accountant.Physical working conditions include a valid Wyoming Driver License or ability to obtain one, ability to pass required background investigations, and ability to obtain any credentials required by the Wyoming Gaming Commission.Working for the State of Wyoming means more than a job — it's a stable, rewarding career that lets you make a difference while enjoying a great quality of life.
